There has been an influx of good quality, low cost IP Cameras into the UK. Our web based Virtual Monitoring platform can record snapshot images from most of them and images can be attached to emails and sent to your mobile phone or computer.
Live Images on your Mobile Phone
Axis, Panasonic, Sony and Y-Cam IP Cameras have been integrated into our Virtual Monitoring Platform to provide live images direct to your computer or mobile phone.
IP Cameras and the Snapshot Command
When our servers receive an alarm, snapshots images can be stored in your image folder within a split second from any Camera supporting a Snapshot Command. Real time video clips can be sent to our servers from more advanced IP cameras like the Axis 207W.
Image recording is a paid add-on service to our free security system monitoring service. The price is £3 per month per camera and includes two megabytes of space for storing event images.
IP Cameras do not to display in every web browser and this is especially true for browsers on mobile phones. If you want to use your iPhone, Blackberry, Android or similar smart phone to remotely view live images, then please make sure the camera you buy is compatible with your IP cameras.
