Intruder alarm systems have long had a bad name for causing too many false alarms and not much has progressed in the UK security industry in thirty years. There is far too much red tape which forces equipment prices sky high. Add to this the fact that only a tiny number of "approved" alarm installation companies are allowed to "tout" a police response to alarm events, effectively allowing them to charge what they want, the cost of burglar alarm and video monitoring is not affordable for the majority of home owners in the UK.

Security Industry Protectionism in the UK

Put simply, UK consumers are fed up with paying too much for the security of their homes and businesses. Approved security firms have dictated to consumers for way too long now and our aim is to put an end to their monopoly by offering alarm monitoring service free of charge.

It is not possible for us to provide free video monitoring, but we can offer it at such a low rate that it is affordable to the vast majority of home owners in the UK. Now that's what we call progress.
